What level of protection is required?
Depending on the assigned tasks, the level can be:
Metallic coatings. They are characterized by high strength, durability and practically do not require maintenance. Effectively removes dirt. Thanks to the galvanized coating, the grids are not subject to corrosion. Among the disadvantages are high weight, high price and the need to install a special pallet.
Rubber-metal coatings. They are made of durable aluminum profiles with rubber or pile inserts. They are the most versatile and common type of coating.
Rubber coverings. They are rugs with a special surface texture that can retain dirt. Cheap, easy to use and easy to replace. Can be used over a large area. Among the disadvantages is the relatively low resistance of rubber to aggressive reagents.
Synthetic pile coverings. For indoor use only. Effectively traps dust and dirt particles. Need regular cleaning. They do not have a long service life (with the exception of high quality polyamide coatings).
Synthetic coatings with a special structure are zigzag PVC strips that perfectly remove dirt from shoes. Virtually maintenance-free. When used at low temperatures, they can lose elasticity.
