PVC water-stop items should be used on concrete surfaces in contact with water to prevents water leakage from the joints. If it is desired to prevent the transfer of dynamic movements in the joint or if there is no pressurized ground water, in this case PVC water stop bands used in the center of concrete section can be used. If the building is on an earthquake zone PVC water stop type should be chosen that is resistant to tensions in diagonal directions or absorb excessive stretches that may occur.
Purpose of use: For several reasons (settlement, earthquake and etc.) many structures face with horizontal or vertical gaps. To maintain watertightness in these gaps ARFEN’s PVC watertight bands are applied.
Material: Extruded by maintaining appropriate temperature and pressure using mixture of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, various catalysts, stabilizer, antioxidants, stain, hardener and plasticizer.
Application Areas: Hydraulic power plants, Bridges, Underground constructions, Viaducts, Retaining walls, Flooring and bases sitting on the ground, hydraulic power stations, underground water below the groundwater level, Drainage, Water reservoirs, Reservoirs, Water treatment facilities, Swimming pools, Waterfalls, curtain compositions, Industrial constructions.
